Operational Strategy
Turning ambitious goals into clear operating plans, accountable teams, and repeatable systems that scale.
Operations & Growth Executive
I help growing businesses turn complex operations into clear systems, stronger teams, and measurable results.

A multidisciplinary perspective

I began my career in marketing, learning how to understand an audience, translate business goals into clear strategies, and earn a client's trust through thoughtful work and consistent follow-through. In agency environments, I managed complex portfolios, built integrated campaigns, and developed a reputation for bringing calm, clarity, and organization to fast-moving work.
That foundation led me naturally into project management and customer experience. I found that I was most energized not only by the strategy, but by improving how the work moved across teams. I helped align creative, marketing, development, and client-facing functions, strengthened delivery processes, and built reporting that gave both clients and leaders a clearer view of performance, risk, and opportunity.
Over seven years at Foster Consulting, I progressed from Senior Digital Marketing Strategist to Senior Project Manager and ultimately Chief Operating Officer. Each role expanded my perspective until I was responsible for the full operating picture: people, financial performance, client retention, service delivery, and sustainable growth. As COO, I oversaw a $6 million-plus operating budget and helped increase EBITDA from $265,000 to $1.4 million, grow revenue by 38%, and improve client retention to 90%.
Along the way, I learned that strong operations are not about adding more process. They are about creating the right amount of structure so people can do their best work. Whether I am improving a client journey, building an operating cadence, developing a growth strategy, or helping a leadership team work through change, my approach remains practical, collaborative, and grounded in both data and human connection.

Nia Al-Kilany is a rare talent with the superpower of being both incredibly approachable and objectively matter-of-fact. Having proudly watched her rise through the ranks, it’s clear why she is successful in her endeavors. She is the epitome of grace under pressure and possesses a level of organization that is second to none. From P&Ls to navigating team dynamics, Nia looks for fair, reasonable solutions and communicates them with total clarity. She meets every deadline, more often ahead of schedule, and always with a smile. I am fortunate to have worked alongside such a genuine person who cares as much about the work as she does about the people doing it.
Nia is the kind of leader every organization hopes to have but rarely finds. What sets her apart is her ability to lead at both a strategic and operational level. She has a clear vision for what success looks like and, more importantly, the discipline and structure to guide a team and organization toward achieving it. Her leadership consistently translates into measurable progress—not just ideas, but execution and results. Operationally, she excels in project management and organizational leadership. Whether it’s building out a plan, aligning teams, or ensuring follow-through, Nia brings a level of thoroughness and attention to detail that drives consistency and accountability across the board. She doesn’t just delegate—she creates clarity, ownership, and momentum. Equally important is how she leads people. Nia has a natural ability to connect with her team in a genuine way, which builds trust and elevates performance. People want to show up and do great work because of the standard she sets and the way she supports them. She leads with both precision and heart, and any organization would be fortunate to have her in a leadership role.
I’ve worked with a lot of people over the years, but Nia is genuinely one of a kind. We worked together for four years, and what stood out about her from day one was how she thinks. She has this ability to look at a problem and come up with a solution that makes you stop and think, “Why didn’t anyone think of that sooner?” It happened more times than I can count. Simple, smart, obvious in hindsight. That’s the Nia effect. Beyond the work itself, she’s the kind of person who makes the people around her better. She’s patient when things get messy, organized when everything feels like it’s spinning, and supportive in a way that’s genuine and not just going through the motions. You always feel like she’s actually in your corner. If you get the chance to work with Nia, say yes without hesitation. You won’t regret it.
I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Omnia (Nia), and what stands out isn’t just her ability to build systems that execute, it’s how she brings structure to environments where execution alone isn’t enough. In many growing organizations, effort increases, but clarity doesn’t. Teams work hard, but delivery becomes inconsistent, and leaders get pulled back into the details. That’s where Nia operates differently. She cuts through the noise quickly. She has a calm, grounded way of de-escalating situations that would otherwise create friction or delay, and she consistently brings conversations back to what matters, clarity, ownership, and outcome. Nia has a strong ability to step back, understand how work is actually flowing across the organization, and then design the structure behind it, clear roles, aligned priorities, and measurable performance. The result isn’t just better execution. It’s a more stable, scalable operating environment. In her role as COO, she demonstrated this through tangible outcomes, driving meaningful revenue growth while improving efficiency and reducing overhead. But more importantly, she built the systems that allowed the business to perform beyond individual effort. She drives accountability in a way that is both firm and constructive, ensuring teams stay focused on outcomes without creating unnecessary complexity. Nia brings a rare combination of operational discipline and practical leadership. She doesn’t overcomplicate. She focuses on what matters, aligns teams around it, and creates the conditions for consistent performance which the team executes on. For any organization looking to scale delivery, strengthen execution, and build a more structured operating model, she will add value quickly.
Omnia is one of the most passionate and positive people I have ever worked with. In our busy agency environment, her attitude sets an example for everyone around her regardless of workload. She cares about her clients and strives for their growth. She is dedicated and always pushing to learn more. She is a resource for the whole marketing team on all subjects from technicalities of email marketing, strategy decisions, to customer service notes. She has a great strategic mind and we have seen the results of her decisions over and over again in how her clients grow. She is an example to us all.
I worked with Nia both while I was on the marketing team and after I switched to the creative team at Whereoware. Her positive energy and willingness to go above and beyond for her clients made an immediate positive impact. The creative briefs Nia sends to our team are thorough, clear and provide creative inspiration that complement her clients’ brands while pushing the envelope so nothing ever gets repetitive or stale. She has mastered forecasting campaign hours which has allowed our team to hit every deadline with ease. Any client that is lucky enough to get on her team will have a phenomenal year due to her exceptional customer service and project management skills. All of these strengths make her a pleasure to work with and a great match for any customer-facing role.
Nia is one of the most driven, energetic, and charismatic people I have had the pleasure to work with. She was able to easily build interpersonal relationships with both co-workers and clients, which fostered an environment of mutual trust and respect, and enabled account growth during stressful or challenging times. This trust also allowed her to continually conceptualize and execute increasingly sophisticated marketing strategy. Nia is also very focused on career growth and therefore takes every opportunity to grow and learn within her position. This knowledge and experience makes her an asset not only to her clients, but also to her coworkers who can leverage her expertise to grow within their own roles.
Omnia is such a pleasure to work with and has been an incredible asset to have on the Whereoware marketing team. Her work ethic, professionalism, teamwork, and ability to successfully juggle multiple projects are just a few of the countless reasons Omnia is an ideal employee for any team. I’ve been particularly impressed by her ability to handle the toughest clients and projects with ease. Her experience in digital platforms such as Watson Campaign Automation, Mailchimp, Episerver, Salesforce Marketing Automation, Weblive, Google Analytics and more has helped her facilitate and execute countless marketing projects seamlessly from beginning to end. She’s been an exemplary role model for the marketing team and constantly demonstrates leadership and innovation within the department. I’m so glad I’ve had the pleasure and opportunity to work with Omnia; she’d be an asset to any team.
